Uses:
Cabot Decking Stains are extremely durable stains for use on all types
of wood decking and fencing. These stains bring out the full beauty
of the wood grain and provide deep-penetrating wood protection. They
are ideal for use on most types of lumber such as cedar, fir, pine,
cypress, spruce, redwood and pressure-treated wood. Cabot Decking Stains
have an alkyd resin base that provides an extremely tough and scuff-resistant
finish. These water-repellent stains also resist cracking, peeling and
blistering. They are made to be walked on! For use on decks, fencing,
wood patios, wood screening, porches, swimming pool walks, outdoor furniture,
steps and railings.
Composition:
Lightly pigmented, deep-penetrating, alkyd resin and refined natural
linseed oil.
Finish:
Dries to a natural, flat finish.
Coverage:
Covers approximately 400-600 square feet per gallon. These rates will
vary depending upon the porosity of the surface.
Restrictions:
Do not apply over previously painted or sealed surfaces or metal. Not
recommended for use on vertical exterior siding. Do not thin this product.
Not intended for interior surfaces. For exterior use only.
