OKON FINAL SHIELD is an interior/exterior, clear water-base coating for new or previously coated concrete surfaces: garage and basement floors; patios, driveways and walks; stained or stamped concrete. It may also be used to seal vertical, dense concrete surfaces; examples, medium or normal weight ground-face block, tilt-up panels or exposed aggregate cast concrete. One coat penetrates and seals new concrete against dusting and provides a thin, easy to maintain finish for previously sealed or stained concrete. Multiple coats protect the surface from moisture penetration, stains and deterioration caused by salt and many chemicals including most petroleum based solvents. The final gloss will be determined by the initial porosity of the surface and the number of the coats applied. Multiple coats will produce a semi-gloss finish. FINAL SHIELD is not a substitute for high-performance coatings designed for heavy industrial environments - examples, exposure to abrasive industrial conditions such as metal filings or machine oils, heavy carts or highly concentrated chemicals.
