DESCRIPTION
UGL Ready Mixed Tile Grout and Repair Cement is an acrylic latex formulation
with silicone for use with ceramic and mosaic tile. It can be used straight
from the can to grout new tile, regrout old tile and reset tile and
fixtures. The product is stain and mildew resistant and may be subjected
to water after 24 hours.
APPLICATION
Old Work
Using a sharp tool like an awl or grout saw, remove old grout from joint,
clean with a liquid detergent and rinse thoroughly. For easy application,
make sure area is damp. Apply grout with sponge, putty knife or hand
(wear rubber or latex gloves), working grout well into joints.
After 30-40 minutes set time, wipe off excess with a damp cloth, squeegee
or sponge, wiping diagonally across tiles. When grout is firm (in about
one hour), polish surface with clean, dry cloth.
New Work
Using a clean wet sponge or cloth, clean surface and dampen joints by
wiping tile vertically and horizontally. Wipe off excess water with
a cloth, leaving surface damp. Apply grout as described above. Clean
tools with water immediately after use.
